Rescue Brew Prize Details


Twelve Grand Prize Winners

  • The twelve grand prize winners (top four from each category) will have their pet professionally photographed by Five Freedoms Photography and be featured in the 2026 Rescue Brew Calendar benefiting Animal Aid Alliance Of North Carolina

  • Winners will be determined by the entrants that get the most votes from each calendar with the animal with the most votes earning the coveted cover spot and a month of the year

  • The twelve runner up winners will have their animal featured as an animal of the month as determined by Five Freedoms Photography

Grand Prize Details

The winner’s professional photo session includes:

  • A complimentary 30-minute photo session by Five Freedoms Photography in Raleigh; dates, times, and locations to be determined by Five Freedoms Photography

  • Winners will receive a social media size image of the chosen calendar photo and of course, bragging rights that their animal is one of the Rescue Brew Animals Of The Year

  • Their pet’s image featured in the finished 2026 Rescue Brew Calendar

  • The session is complimentary ($400 value), but no other digital or artwork is included. If interested, additional artwork is available for purchase through our Limited Product Guide.

  • If you’d like a more customized experience, winners will have the chance to upgrade their session to a full Pet Portrait Experience with Five Freedoms Photography after the contest is over.

  • If for some reason, you are unable to commit to a photo session during the selected time or if you are unable to travel to the pre-selected location of choice, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your animal’s spot in the calendar. No exceptions.

Calendar Details

  • Calendars will be available for purchase online by the general public starting October 15th, 2025.

  • By participating in the Contest Session, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Five Freedoms Photography and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
