Hey, I’m Joanne!

If your dog is your heart, you’re in the right place.

If you’re anything like most pet parents, your camera roll is full of your dog… and you’re rarely in the frame. My work is for people who want more than a few cute photos—it’s for people want to cement the way your dog fits into your life, your home, and your story.

My photography journey began in dog rescue back in 2019, where I learned firsthand how powerful imagery can be. Just like how great photos help people get booked in the entertainment world, they help homeless dogs be seen, valued, and chosen among millions available for adoption.

That same intentional, thoughtful approach now shapes every client session—creating images that feel meaningful to you and the relationship with your pup(s).

Over the years, I’ve photographed well over a thousand dogs of every age, breed, and personality imaginable.

Whether your dog is anxious, reactive, shy, high-energy, gray-muzzled, or somewhere in between, you can relax knowing they’re in patient, experienced hands—and that you will also be gently guided every step of the way.

While my sessions are what I like to call pup-focused, they are also designed to include you, not just your dog.

Together, we’ll create beautiful, custom artwork that reflects the bond you share—pieces you’ll see and smile at every day as well as treasuring for a lifetime.

Each session supports our rescue photography where we regularly provide shelter and rescue dogs across North Carolina with complimentary photoshoots to make them shine and help them find their forever home.
