Our 4th Birthday Fundraiser benefitting the Canine Community Outreach of North Carolina is dropping on August 4th!

This will be our fourth year running with the goal is raising $2000 for our friends over at Canine Community Outreach Of North Carolina, a local non-profit organization that is working to close the gap between affordable spay/neuter and our community also subsidizing spay / neuter for rescue organizations as needed, and more.

Our community will have a chance to buy virtual entries supporting CCONC for the chance to win one of three awesome prizes from us including:

• $1000 Gift Certificate

All of which can be used towards a Pet Portrait experience with us plus custom digital or physical artwork from your session!

Entries are:

Join Dog Photographer, Joanne Wetzel, for an afternoon of learning all about pet photography as it pertains to taking great photos of your foster cats and dogs!

We will tackle some of the most common foster issues when it comes to taking photos, such as lighting, focus, getting the animal to pay attention to you / sit still, cell phone camera settings, and more.

This class is only for current animal fosters at local shelters and rescues and is not open to the public as a photography class. Please only register if you are an active foster with a shelter or rescue and can provide proof as such.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join Joanne Wetzel, Professional Dog Photographer, for a beautiful afternoon Pet Photography photo walk at the North Carolina Museum Of Art. This photo walk is designed for anyone interested in capturing the beauty of their own pets or our dog models.

Whether you use a smartphone or a more advanced camera, this event will provide you with easy-to-follow photography tips to enhance your ability to document everyday moments with your dog.

During our walk, I'll offer advice on basic settings, natural light, recommendations for working with dogs, composition, and more.

We’ll also have one or two dog models along, so you’ll get plenty of practice and see firsthand how to make the most of the stunning afternoon light.

This photo walk is a fantastic opportunity for dog lovers to connect, exchange photography tips, and enjoy all of the unique beauty the art museum has to offer.
