Thoughts & Changes Towards 2026
You know what’s wild?
I was sitting in my backyard just about four years ago reading Dogtography by Kaylee Greer dreaming about traveling the world photographing dogs and helping rescue dogs be seen through professional photography.
Well, we’ve accomplished those things and so much more in that time!
While you are in it, owning a business is tough at times, I’m not going to lie.
But having a chance to reflect on the year and the growth that’s occurred is always rewarding…
2025 was the hardest year yet for many reasons - feelings of unworthiness, hitting growth plateaus, business being slower than previous years, more competitors in the market, other photographers copying us verbatim, people trying to steal our images, and more.
But, we’ve endured.
Through everything 2025 tossed our way, we are still here, still evolving, still creating, and will continue to photograph dogs and their people as long as the world will allow us!
After some much needed time off, we are looking to a renewed, vibrant, and joyful 2026.

WHAT WE ARE CHANGING FROM 2025
In 2026, we are taking a break from our calendar contest! After three massive years, we wanted to try our hands at some different things and put those efforts into other endeavors.
After some reflection, we are hitting pause on our Pup To Pup Program where we donate 10% of client sales back to a rescue of choice each quarter.
Given how much time, energy, and money we offer up through our rescue photography, the number of fundraisers we host, and the offhand donations we give throughout the year, it became burdensome seeing as how much we already give, donate, and volunteer.
We would like to take those funds and reinvest them back into the business, so that we can continue to offer our rescue work in a more sustainable, attainable way and be able to pay ourselves, too.
