Best Of 2025: Raleigh's Pet + People Photographer
The ‘Best Of’ series is back for 2025! Honestly, where does the time go?!
This is one of my favorite blog posts to put together, because it really helps me reflect on the year and all of the beautiful work I created with the help of my amazing clients and assistants.
While there is work that I love from every single session, this post is really a round up of some of my favorite images of the year more from the photographic perspective.
This year I also decided that I wanted to include some notable key moments like I do over on Instagram.
In fact, I keep a list each year of 52 Good Things that are not revenue related, so that I can remember all that I’ve accomplished in a year, to celebrate the small things, and be grateful for how far I’ve come along with the impact that Five Freedoms Photography has made.
Raised / donated $23,578 to local non-profits and rescues across North Carolina this year
Photographed 268 rescue dogs
Won our first Silver award through the International Pet Photography Awards
Launched our first gallery exhibit at Second Chance Pet Adoptions
Shot and completed our third annual calendar, the 2026 Triangle Dog Of The Year Calendar
Became an LLC!
Created our Rescue Lens Sponsorship Program
Celebrated four years of our Foster Photo Day Initiative
Learned studio photography and started offering pop up portraits B2B
And so much more…
Looking back, even though this year was a big challenge for many reasons, I am so proud of all that Five Freedoms Photography has accomplished and even more proud that we’ve persevered.
Now, I’ll stop gabbing and leave you with a round up of my favorite images from the year! Enjoy!
