December 2025 Adoptables Sponsored by Humble Tree Professionals

Our last Foster Photo Day of the year is here!

I am so excited to introduce you guys to our very first Foster Photo Day sponsor, Humble Tree Professionals.

Humble Tree Professionals is a Veteran owned and operated tree service based in the South Raleigh area. They specialize in tree healthcare, pruning, planting, maintenance, and removals. With over 15+ years of experience in the tree service industry, they would love to help you with your next project no matter how big or small. Contact them today for your free estimate here.

Business sponsorships such as this help us to provide our Foster Photo Days more often and cover costs such as travel, editing, assisting, supplies, and more.

We hope to gain more sponsorships in 2026, so that we can continue to help dogs through the medium of beautiful imagery and double our yearly number of animals helped to 600!

Since the inception of the Foster Photo Day program back in October of 2021, we’ve photographed well over 350+ pups in foster across the Triangle through over twenty three different rescue partners.

Even if you aren’t a business and you want to support our Foster Photo Day initiatives, you can make a monetary contribution here, shop our merchandise, or even pick up something for the pups off of our wishlist.

Without further ado, here are the adorable animals I had the pleasure to meet and photograph as part of our December Foster Photo Day!

Know someone looking to adopt? Feel free to share their profile or this post with them!

NILES - WAKEGOV PETS

Niles is a sweet, playful, and outgoing kitten who loves everyone. He's talkative, affectionate, and full of personality. He does well with dogs and loves a cat to play with. Niles would thrive well with another kitty sibling as he loves to play!

Niles was born with a condition which affects the muscles around his sphincter and can cause occasional fecal incontinence. He has insufficient anal tone to his external and internal sphincter. It is a congenital abnormality rather than an illness. Earlier on, he struggled with constipation, but he's now doing very well with the help of 2 medications! The medications he is on are scripted but are easy to access and pretty inexpensive. $14 a year for one medication and $45 quarterly for the second medication. They make him very comfortable and are easy to administer to him by mouth. Very good trade off for an entertaining and sweet kitty!!

While Niles is an overall happy kitten now, he unfortunately experiences intermittent fecal incontinence. He uses the litterbox, but sometimes leaks without realizing it, so his backside may not always be clean, and he regularly drops poop outside the litterbox.

There is a chance he may become cleaner with time, but it may also be a life-long condition.

CHERRY - CRISISDOGS NC

Cherry is a 9-year-old Miniature Pinscher with a big personality packed into a tiny 14-pound body. She’s a deeply loyal “velcro dog” who loves to stay close, cuddle on the couch, and follow her favorite person from room to room. Cherry enjoys toys, bones, and short outdoor adventures, and she rides happily in a stroller thanks to her wobbly gait and limited mobility. She’s potty trained (uses pee pads and goes outside) but may occasionally mark indoors, which can improve with consistency.

Cherry does well with calm, submissive dogs but would also thrive as a solo queen in a peaceful home. Because she has balance issues and can get underfoot, she’s best suited for a home without small children and with minimal stairs or slippery floors. This sassy, affectionate girl is food-motivated, smart, and endlessly devoted to her people—ready to be someone’s shadow and biggest fan.

FANNY - PERFECTLY IMPERFECT PUPS

Just look at that toothy grin!  What Fanny lacks in proper jaw alignment, she makes up for in her sweet temperament and over-all good dog-ness.  She is a friend to all – dogs, cats, and people.  She loves to follow you around to see what you are up to.  She is always up for a jaunt around the neighborhood, to sit quietly while you work, and perhaps gnaw on a toy, or to just chill on the couch, endlessly watching reruns of Gilmore Girls.  She doesn’t judge, she is just stoked to be with you.

While she would rather join you when you leave (who doesn’t love a car ride to WHEREVER!) She is also very understanding if you need to leave the house, and will rest quietly in her crate will you are gone.

After finding herself in the Wake County Animal shelter in not the best of shape, Fanny has recently embarked on a journey of self-care.  She is working on gaining a few pounds, clearing up that itchy skin of hers, and ridding herself of those pesky heartworms!  Worry not!  She is committed to become her best self, and quite possibly, the best dog around in no time flat!

WILBUR - CRISISDOGS NC

Wilbur is a 9-month-old, 29-pound Ibizan Hound mix with a goofy grin and a heart full of love. He’s crate trained, nearly house trained, and can be trusted outside his crate without being destructive. This social butterfly adores everyone he meets—kids, adults, and especially other dogs—and loves romping around the yard with his foster siblings. Wilbur has a medium energy level and strikes a great balance between playful puppy fun and gentle, easygoing companionship. He’s still polishing his leash skills and will need a fenced yard for safe playtime while he learns. Affectionate, curious, and endlessly charming, Wilbur is just as happy exploring the world as he is curling up for cuddles. He’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and loyal companionship to his forever family.

PUMPKIN LATTE - PAWFECT MATCH

Pumpkin is a 100-pound sweetheart with an even bigger heart. She’s fully house trained, well behaved, and knows several commands including sit, shake, speak, and stay. Pumpkin is the ultimate velcro dog—she loves being your shadow, soaking up affection, and handing out free kisses. She enjoys leisurely walks with her great leash manners, cozy couch cuddles, and car rides (just ask, “Do you wanna go?” and watch her light up). Calm and polite by nature, she also has a playful side and loves toys and a good game of fetch. Pumpkin does guard food and toys around other dogs, which is easily managed, and she would thrive in a loving home ready to spoil this extra-sweet Pumpkin Spice Latte of a pup.
