Forget Me Not Session: Melissa, Ryder, + Mabel

Some dogs truly come into our life accidentally.

Ryder came into Melissa’s life on 4th of July in 2013.

While waiting for the fireworks to start, she found Ryder sitting in a tiny, pink baby stroller on the banks of a river with no one in sight.

Of course, she couldn’t just leave him there. It was extremely hot outside and it looked as if he had been there for hours.

She tried to find his owner or his family to no avail… That evening, they watched the fireworks together.

Afterwards, Melissa knew she couldn’t let Ryder go.

Ryder now has Heart Disease, an enlarged heart, heart murmur, and most recently had a mass removed on his butt, though, you wouldn’t know it.

He is full of personality and loves getting his photo taken even posing for the camera at times.

He might be a bit of a grumpy “Dad” to new addition, Mabel, but even through protests, he’s showing her the ropes of how to be a really good dog.

Ryder still loves to go on adventures, car rides, and just generally enjoy all that life has to offer.

I hope you fall in love with Ryder and Mabel just as much as I did. On to a few of my favorites from their session!
