GEORGE - TRIANGLE BEAGLE RESCUE

Meet George Costanza, one of the Seinfeld crew who came to Triangle Beagle Rescue after being found in a difficult situation. Today, he’s thriving in foster care and showing off his happy, affectionate personality every day.

George is a young, playful beagle with a sweet, eager-to-please nature. He loves belly rubs, any kind of treat, and mealtime too, especially dry food with the bonus of fresh veggies. One of his favorite routines is greeting his foster mom and dad right at the door when they come home, tail wagging and ready for attention.

He’s doing great with his leash skills, sits nicely for his harness, and may even make a fun jogging buddy. George handles stairs and doorways with ease and confidence and enjoys being part of the household action.

Like any young dog learning the ropes, George is still working on a few things. He prefers sleeping in his favorite chair over a crate, where he sleeps soundly through the night and stays dry. He does well in the home with regular potty breaks and has handled short periods alone in a contained space just fine. When he’s feeling a little lonely, he may ask for attention at the door, but he responds quickly to reassurance and affection.

George is learning his manners and is doing well with training. He’s practicing “sit,” working on “no” for counter surfing, and comes running for treats when called. Because he is athletic and can jump, a fenced yard will help keep him safe while he plays and explores.

He can be a little unsure about the television and prefers to relax nearby where he feels comfortable. George is currently being treated for Heartworms and will be available for adoption once his treatment is complete.

NEWMAN - TRIANGLE BEAGLE RESCUE

MORE INFORMATION COMING SOON!

RIBBIT - APS OF DURHAM

Ribbit is a sweet, affectionate, and goofy boy with a huge smile and an even bigger heart. While he can be a little anxious and sensitive at first, he’s slowly learning that the world is safe and full of kind people. He loves treats, toys, walks, and gentle affection, and once he feels comfortable, his playful personality shines through in the most adorable ways — tossing toys in the air, bouncing around happily, and soaking up snuggles whenever he can. Ribbit would thrive with patient, understanding people who can continue helping him build confidence at his own pace, and he may especially enjoy having a confident dog friend around to show him the ropes.

Beyond his sweet nature, Ribbit is also hilariously charming. Described as a “hippo potato frog dog,” he’s full of quirky snorts, sploots, goofy expressions, and lovable antics that make everyone fall for him. From his potato-colored coat to his dramatic toy play and messy treat-eating skills, Ribbit is equal parts comedy and cuddle bug. Underneath all the silliness is a gentle soul who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family.

TEDDY - TRIANGLE BEAGLE RESCUE

Teddy is a fun, playful little guy with a big personality packed into a small body! He is full of curiosity and charm, and he’s always ready to be part of whatever you’re doing.

He has recovered extremely well from surgery to repair his leg and is feeling great! Now that he’s healed, his playful side is in full swing—Teddy LOVES toys, especially stuffies, and will happily prance around showing off his prized possessions.

Teddy is very dog-social and enjoys being around other dogs. He benefits from having a canine buddy to help build his confidence and is currently working on his leash manners, doing best when walking with another dog. He can be a little unsure with new people and in new environments (especially indoors), but warms up quickly—especially when he sees other dogs getting attention first. Once he’s comfortable, he absolutely loves affection and being part of the action.

At home, Teddy isn’t quite a full-time lap dog, but he loves being your shadow and staying close to his people. He also has a funny habit of asking to be picked up so he can sit with you on the couch—even when stairs are available.

Teddy is still learning his manners and will do best in a home that can provide structure, consistency, and guidance as he continues to grow and gain confidence.

If you’re looking for a loyal, entertaining, and affectionate companion with lots of character, Teddy might be your perfect match!

Teddy’s vet care is sponsored in part by Meredith Pope who wrote: In loving memory of Mabel, our beloved tripawd beagle.

In Loving Memory Of Oatmeal

Oatmeal came to TriBeagles with a broken jaw, halitosis, and Heartworms. His Foster, Kim, was hoping something could be done for his jaw, but upon further analysis, the infection in his jaw had spread throughout his body.

It was a kindness to say goodbye.

Even with his history and his injuries, Oatmeal was affectionate, gentle, and curious. He just wanted to be close with people and be pet with a loving hand. Rest easy, Oatmeal.

If you’d like to support rescue Beagles like Oatmeal, please consider making a donation in his honor.

LUKAS - CRISISDOGS NC

Lukas is a lovable 4-year-old Lab mix with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and endless enthusiasm for life. Weighing in at 65 pounds, this playful boy is happiest when he’s by your side — whether that means following you from room to room, heading out on a hike, or exploring the backyard. Like many Labrador mixes, Lukas is affectionate, intelligent, energetic, and deeply people-oriented. He thrives on companionship and would love an active family that enjoys adventure as much as he does.

This sweet, goofy pup is looking for a home with a large fenced yard where he can safely run and play, plus humans who are willing to continue helping him polish his leash manners and channel his excitement for the world. Lukas is friendly with everyone he meets and would likely do best with older kids and a dog sibling his size who enjoys rough-and-tumble play. He’s potty trained, loves mealtime, and does well when left alone in the home. Lukas is currently heartworm positive, but his treatment will be fully covered through CrisisDogsNC. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will bring energy, affection, and BIG love into your life, Lukas may be your perfect match.
